In September, a Cairo Economic Misdemeanor Court sentenced Kassem to three months for insulting former Minister of Labour Kamal Abu Eita and another three months for insulting a public employee.
The court also fined Kassem EGP 20,000.
However, the court acquitted Kassem of the charge of "disturbing the authorities."
