In the new verdict, the court fined Mansour 20,000 EGP and ordered him to cover the legal expenses and attorney fees.
The court found Mansour guilty of insulting, defaming, and harassing El-Khatib on 9 April 2022.
Mansour, 70, a lawyer and former member of parliament, has a history of standing trial for his offensive remarks.
In May last year, the economic misdemeanor court sentenced Mansour to three months in prison and imposed a fine of EGP 20,000, along with temporary compensation of EGP 10,000.
He appealed the ruling and is set to appear before the court in March, where a verdict is expected.
In July, the Supreme Administrative Court issued a final ruling removing Mansour from his position as president of Zamalek after he was convicted of slandering El-Khattib and served a one-month prison sentence.
For the same reasons, Zamalek also canceled Mansour’s membership in the club on Monday.
On Saturday, the Court of Cassation suspended a six-month jail and a fine of EGP 20,000 sentence against Mansour over insulting General Manager of the Central Auditing Organization Lamiaa Khairy as they reconciled.
Earlier this month, an economic court acquitted Mansour of insulting Hany Al-Attal, former vice president of Zamalek.
