The Public Prosecution charged the defendants with joining a terrorist group that was established in violation of the law and the provisions of the Egyptian Constitution, the purpose of which is to call for the disruption of public order, and endanger the safety, interests, and security of society.
The group also aimed to disrupt the provisions of the Egyptian Constitution and laws, prevent state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attack the personal freedom of citizens and public freedoms and rights, and harm national unity and social peace.
The defendants acknowledged the group's purposes and means of achieving those purposes.
