Last week, the body of the 10-month-old victim, Janet Jumaa, was discovered in a public park near her home.
The prosecution investigations concluded that the accused individual kidnapped Janet as she played with her older sister in front of her home in Nasr City, and then took her to a nearby park, where he assaulted and murdered her.
The accused faces the death penalty if convicted on said charges.
