In a statement issued late on Monday, the prosecution said a report by the Forensic Medicine Authority found DNA belonging to three of the suspects on the clothing of some of the victims, bringing the number of suspects in the case to seven.

On Sunday, the Military Prosecution requisitioned the case file for the investigation.

On 20 November, the Public Prosecution had received a horrific report that five kindergarten children at a school within the jurisdiction of the Al-Salam Second Police Department had been sexually assaulted by four employees on the school premises.

The four- and five-year-old boys and girls were allegedly sexually assaulted over one year by at least three staff members and a security guard on the school’s premises.
