Egypt expresses condolences to Niger after fire kills at least 25 students

Egypt expressed its sincere condolences on Monday to Niger after a school fire broke out that left dozens of students dead and injured.

At least 25 primary school children were killed and 14 injured, including five in critical condition, when their straw-roof classrooms caught fire on Monday.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered the condolences of the Egyptian government and people to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured children.
