Egypt's PM welcomes Spanish counterpart at Cairo airport

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly welcomed his Spanish counterpart, Pedro Sánchez, upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport on Tuesday evening.

The Spanish premier is paying a two-day official visit to Cairo, leading a high-profile government delegation, as well as a group of businessmen and CEOs of major Spanish companies.

Sánchez is due to lead his country's delegation at the Spanish-Egyptian Business Forum.

A number of memorandums of understanding and cooperation protocols are expected to be signed between both sides in the economic, trade and cultural fields.
