Egypt condemns Houthi militia’s ballistic missile attack on Riyadh

Egypt has expressed its “strong condemnation and denunciation” of a Houthi militia ballistic missile attack on the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which was successfully intercepted by the Royal Saudi Air Defence Forces.

Egypt has also affirmed its total condemnation of the continued attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, said a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

In retaliation, Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday that it had destroyed Sanaa’s launch site of the missile, which was intercepted a day earlier.

Egypt also affirmed its support for the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve its security, stability and territorial integrity.
