During the ceremony of launching the new strategy for cooperation between Egypt and the EBRD, Shoukry pointed out the intense challenges facing Egypt, namely the current international political climate and the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also praised the efforts exerted by International Cooperation Minister Rania Al-Mashat, the foreign ministry and the EBRD to reach such an agreement.
The minister noted that the Egyptian economy is now capable of confronting challenges and crises and to attract more foreign investments within President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's developmental plan.
