Speaking at a press conference Wednesday with his Angolan counterpart Téte António, Shoukry said there is political will to promote bilateral relations to overcome challenges facing the African continent.

The talks tackled issues of mutual concern, he said, adding that four deals were signed by the two counties on political consultations and visa exemptions.

The youth and sports ministers of both countries will also sign a deal to consolidate bonds of cooperation, Shoukry noted.

Angolan Foreign Minister Téte António stated during the press conference that new avenues of cooperation have been inaugurated during his visit to Cairo, especially cooperation between businessmen from the two countries.

He also revealed that during his meeting with President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Tuesday, the Egyptian president accepted the invitation to visit Angola.
