Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Khaled Galal noted that the logo was designed by the Egyptian Embassy in Germany and the German foreign Ministry, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

He added that the upcoming period would witness holding a number of Egyptian cultural activities in Berlin and other German cities, noting that these activities will promote Egyptian tourism in the German market.

The two countries had established diplomatic relations on October 16, 1952.
