The Saudi kingdom's Royal Diwan said on Sunday the king entered King Faisal Specialist Hospital in the coastal city of Jeddah on Saturday to conduct some medical examinations.

President Sisi expressed his good wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during a telephone call he made to him, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said Monday.

The king thanked the president for his kindness and sincere wishes which reflect the depth and uniqueness of the solid and long-standing relationship between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the strong bonds between their peoples, he added.
