President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi shared on Wednesday Egypt’s efforts to combat corruption, review the government’s performance, and provide an atmosphere of transparency and accountability with Brazil’s Vice-President of the Federal Court of Accounts Bruno Dantas in Cairo, the Egyptian presidency announced.
El-Sisi said that Egypt is keen on developing relations with Brazil in financial control and accounting.
Dantas, for his part, affirmed his country's keenness to enhance mutual understanding with Egypt in financial and legal oversight and combating corruption.
The meeting also saw an exchange of views on how to maximise cooperation between the audit institutions in Egypt and Brazil, especially within the framework of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions.
Head of Egypt’s Central Audit Organisation Hisham Badawy attended the meeting.
