Sisi discusses fraternal relations with leaders of Bahrain, Jordan, UAE in New Alamein

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi discussed cooperation and fraternal relations with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the presidential palace in New Alamein City on Tuesday, the Egyptian presidency announced.

The four leaders reiterated their support for the efforts to consolidate security, peace, stability and cooperation on various levels, which is based on trust and mutual respect in a way that helps achieve the aspirations of all the region’s peoples for progress, construction and development.

They also discussed a number of issues as well as regional and international developments, while exchanging their relevant viewpoints.

Earlier on Tuesday, El-Sisi met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mostafa Kadhimi before his departure to Baghdad.

Kadimi reportedly cut short his visit to Egypt and headed back to Baghdad after several hundred supporters of Shiite cleric Moqtada Al-Sadr launched a sit-in outside Iraq's top judicial body in the morning.

On Monday, El-Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, who arrived in Egypt on Sunday for bilateral talks with the Egyptian president, received the three other Arab leaders at Alamein International Airport.

On Monday evening, the Egyptian leader and the Arab leaders made a tour of New Alamein City, attending the inauguration of the Regal Heights resort in the North Coast.
