Egypt provides medical aid to Burundi to support its health sector

Egypt has delivered shipments of medical aid to Burundi as part of its efforts to support the country's health sector, according to a statement by Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The medical aid was provided by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, which is affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aid was handed over to the Egyptian-Burundi Hospital in Bururi Governorate, the Egyptian department of Dialysis in the Burundi Military Hospital, and the Egyptian department of Dialysis in the Burundian Police Hospital.

Egypt's Ambassador to Burundi, Yasser Al-Atwi, stressed Egypt's great interest in supporting the Burundian health sector, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide full support to Burundi and to support the developmental advancement and comprehensive reform plan of Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye. The ambassador also affirmed Egypt's commitment to supporting Burundi in all fields.

Burundian officials have extended their appreciation to Egypt for its continuous support , emphasizing the importance of the Egyptian aid to the Burundian health sector.
