The summit will focus on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank, according to the statement.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met with Palestinian President Abbas in Cairo on Monday where they discussed ways of ending the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.
Two weeks ago, El-Sisi also held a summit meeting with Abdullah II in Cairo where they also tackled the humanitarian situation in the besieged strip.
The summit coincides with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s tour in the Middle East to rally the region leaders for post-war Gaza.
Blinken is expected to meet officials in Ramallah on Wednesday and conclude his tour in Cairo on Thursday.
