According to the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, the Indonesian Navy hospital ship KRI Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 arrived at Arish port and began to unload its aid cargo.

The ship was dispatched by Indonesia with humanitarian supplies to Egypt on 18 January.

According to Indonesian news reports, the ship docked at Arish port for approximately four days to deliver the aid to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society (ERCS), which will then distribute it to Gaza. The 200 tons of humanitarian aid include food, medicine, tents, and clean water.

The ship was received by diplomates from the Indonesian embassy in Cairo as well as Egyptian officials, above them the ERCS.

Moreover, the aid includes food and beverages, clothing, feminine hygiene products, and products for children and babies donated by the Indonesian people to humanitarian aid posts established by the Indonesian Navy in Jakarta and Surabaya earlier.
