The Egyptian Presidency released a statement on Monday conveying El-Sisi's condolences to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, and the family as well as the people of Jordan.
El-Sisi prayed for Allah to bestow mercy upon the deceased and provide the family with patience and solace.
The Royal Hashemite Court announced the death of Princess Rajwa’s father, a renowned Saudi businessman, on Sunday, commencing three days of mourning as per directives from King Abdullah.
Crown Prince Al-Hussein and Princess Rajwa were married last June.
