Egypt's Arish Airport received 502 aircraft carrying aid for Gaza since 12 October

Arish International Airport in North Sinai governorate has received 502 aircraft carrying aid for the Gaza Strip since 12 October 2023, according to a statement monitoring aid-receiving aircraft at the Egyptian airport on Monday.

These aircraft brought 15,000 tons of aid and relief materials from 50 Arab and foreign countries, in addition to regional and international aid organizations.

The aircraft cargoes are unloaded, transported by trucks to logistic warehouses in the city of Arish, and then gradually delivered to the Gaza Strip in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart through the Rafah border crossing.

The countries from which the aircraft arrived include Algeria, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Poland, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, England, the European Union, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nairobi, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia.
