Shoukry discussed with his counterparts the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, highlighting Egypt's effort on the political, security, and humanitarian levels to stop Israel's brutal war on Gaza, according to Ahmed Abu-Zeid, the Egyptian foreign ministry's official spokesman.
The Egyptian foreign minister met with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad to discuss means to resolve the Syrian crisis and the efforts of the Arab ministerial contact committee on Syria.
Shoukry also discussed with his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, in light of the deep-rooted relations between both countries, along with consultation and coordination on mutual regional challenges.
In addition, Egypt's top diplomat met with Morocco's FM Nasser Bourita, where they discussed ways to strengthen Egyptian-Moroccan relations, and consulted on the most important items in the agenda of the AL Council's current session.
Furthermore, he discussed with his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar the joint coordination to address common challenges and strengthen Arab action mechanisms, as well as ways to advance the distinguished bilateral relations between both countries.
Shoukry also participated in the Arab Ministerial Committee's meeting concerned with following up the Turkish interference in the Arab countries' internal affairs and the Ministerial Working Group's meeting on supporting Somalia in confronting aggression on its sovereignty.
