In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered condolences to the Somali government and people over the victims lost in this heinous attack, wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
Furthermore, the ministry affirmed Egypt's full solidarity and support to Somalia in confronting any attempt to destabilize the country.
Cairo also stressed its strong condemnation of all kinds of violence, extremism, and terrorism, urging joint international efforts to combat them.
Three people were killed and 27 others injured on Thursday in a terrorist attack by Al-Shabaab jihadists at a hotel near the presidential palace in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
