During a session, El-Gebaly praised the Egyptian role since the outbreak of Gaza crisis, and its efforts to achieve peace and spare the blood of the Palestinian people, which did not stop for a single moment despite the difficulties it faces.

The House of Representatives held all concerned parties, especially the Israeli government, fully responsible for any action that leads to a dangerous escalation, and undermines the process of negotiations towards reaching a peaceful solution.

Furthermore, the House called on the international community to take actions to prevent further crimes against the Palestinian people, and to urge Israel to adopt a peaceful approach with the aim of reaching a peaceful and just solution to the Palestinian cause.

On Tuesday, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli military operations in the Palestinian city of Rafah, and its seizure of the Palestinian side of the Rafah Border Crossing.

The ministry's statement came following the Israeli announcement that its army had taken "operational control" of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

Egypt, Qatar, and the US have been actively mediating between Israel and Hamas to halt the war, secure captives' release, and facilitate the entry of more aid into the besieged strip.

The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has killed at least 34,789 people in Gaza, mostly women and children, and wounded 78,204 others.
