Both parties emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to achieve a ceasefire and ensure sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip.

They warned of the catastrophic security and humanitarian consequences resulting from the expansion of military operations in densely populated civilian areas.

Additionally, they underscored the importance of international efforts to implement the two-state solution per international resolutions to achieve security and stability in the region and prevent the renewal and expansion of the conflict in the future.

The meeting also affirmed the strength and depth of the partnership between Egypt and the European Union, especially following the recent upgrade of their relations to a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership.
