The conference, taking place on 29-30 June, will be the first major step in implementing the Egypt-EU Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership agreed upon by both sides in March of this year during the Egypt-European summit in Cairo.

According to the strategic and comprehensive agreement, Egypt would receive €7.4 billion in EU funding until 2027.

The two-day event aims to explore the investments between Egypt and the EU in vital fields towards the development and sustainability of the Egyptian economy.

The event will convene more than a thousand attendees, including EU heads of state, ministers, senior officials, leadership of development partners, and CEOs of companies from Egypt and the EU.

It will also highlight the strategic reforms being implemented by Egypt to attract foreign investment and create an enabling environment for the private sector.

Participants will attend panel discussions, explore investment opportunities, and meet with ministers and high-ranking officials from Egypt, the EU, and international financial institutions.

The event will also shed light on Egypt's potential as an investment hub due to its strategic location in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, food and water security, renewable energy, circular economy, innovation, and digitalization.

Additionally, the conference will discuss financing opportunities for the EU in various ready-for-investment projects in Egypt.
