According to the Egyptian foreign ministry's statement, Abdelatty discussed the crises in Gaza, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, and the Red Sea over the phone with his British, Cypriot, Iraqi, Moroccan, and Kenyan counterparts.
During the calls, Abdelatty highlighted to his counterparts Egypt's efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and an agreement for exchanging detainees and prisoners.
He also stressed the importance of ensuring the entry of sufficient humanitarian aid into the besieged Strip.
British FM
During a phone call with his British counterpart David Lammy, Egypt's FM warned about the dangers of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip and the resulting tensions and escalations in various parts of the region.
He shed light on the dangers of Israeli escalation against Lebanon and threats to secure navigation in the Red Sea, emphasising the need for measures to push the Israeli government towards halting the Gaza war.
Abdelatty also outlined Egypt's efforts to end the Sudanese crisis, highlighting the importance of a ceasefire and the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Sudan.
For his part, Lammy lauded Egypt's ongoing efforts to address the successive crises in the Middle East, recognising its role as a cornerstone of regional security and stability.
Cypriot FM
Similarly, FM Abdelatty affirmed to his Cypriot counterpart Constantinos Kombos over the phone the urgency of joint efforts to address rapid developments and prevent further violence and instability in th region.
For his part, Kombos praised Egypt's efforts at the political and humanitarian levels to address the regional crises and de-escalate the rising tensions.
Iraqi FM
During a phone call with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, Abdelatty stressed Egypt's steadfast support to Iraq's security and stability.
For his part, Hussein commended Cairo's significant role in ending the war on Gaza and providing sufficient humanitarian aid to the besieged Strip.
Moroccan FM
Moreover, Abdelatty commended the Moroccan King's leadership of the Al-Quds Committee and the committee's support for the Palestinian cause during a phone call with Moroccan FM Nasser Bourita.
The call also touched on the situation in Libya, with both ministers emphasising the importance of coordination in resolving the crisis, given the alignment of their countries' stances on the Libyan crisis.
For his part, Bourita praised Egypt's pivotal role in the region and its continuous efforts to mitigate the expansion of conflict to establish security and stability throughout the region.
Kenyan FM
According to the Egyptian foreign ministry, FM Abdelatty and Kenya's FM Musalia Mudavadi discussed the developments in the Horn of Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, and South Sudan.
They also discussed the Nile water issue and the relations between Nile Basin countries, exploring efforts to promote peace and stability across the African continent.
During the call, Abdelatty pointed out Egypt's efforts to address the Sudanese crisis to uphold state cohesion and institutional integrity. He highlighted Egypt's urgent humanitarian and medical aid to support the Sudanese people.
For his part, Mudavadi shared insights into his country's mediation role in South Sudan.
Abdelatty's calls are part of ongoing communications with various parties to reduce the worsening regional tensions.
