Egypt expresses condolences to Sudan following Arbaat Dam collapse

Egypt expressed its deepest condolences to Sudan following the tragic collapse of the Arbaat Dam in the Red Sea state northwest of the country, according to a statement on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The disaster has brought about numerous casualties, injuries, and missing persons, while hundreds of thousands have been displaced due to the resulting floods.

On behalf of the Egyptian government and people, Egypt extended its heartfelt sympathies to the Sudanese government, people, and families of the victims.

Egypt also wished a speedy recovery to the injured and swift success in locating those still missing.

Furthermore, the country reaffirmed its full solidarity with Sudan in overcoming the aftermath of the disaster, expressing its readiness to provide all needed support.
