This came following Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty's directives on Tuesday to Ambassador Moussa in a phone call to assess the Egyptian community's conditions amid escalating military tensions in Lebanon.
The call came within Abdelatty's continuous follow-up on the rapid and serious developments that Lebanon is witnessing due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the call, Moussa provided a comprehensive overview of Lebanon's current situation and the conditions of Egyptians there.
For his part, FM Abdelatty emphasized the importance of closely monitoring the Egyptian community's conditions in Lebanon and ensuring they receive necessary support and care.
Moreover, he directed Moussa to facilitate the arrival of an Egyptian medical aid shipment to Lebanon, per President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's directives on Saturday during a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
Moussa noted that El-Sisi's directives to provide aid have been largely appreciated by the Lebanese people amid this crisis.
Earlier Tuesday, Israel launched a ground invasion of Lebanon, backed by air forces and artillery, marking the first time Israel has invaded Lebanon since 2006.
