El-Sisi discusses boosting cooperation with Abu Dhabi crown prince, Tanzania president on G20 sidelines

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi held two separate meetings on Monday with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Tanzanian President Samia Hassan on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil to discuss boosting bilateral relations.

In his meeting with the Abu Dhabi crown prince, President El-Sisi emphasized the strong partnership with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining cooperation and coordination across various fields to meet the aspirations of the Egyptian and Emirati people for development and progress.

 

 

In President El-Sisi's meeting with the Tanzanian president, they discussed recent advancements in economic and trade relations and collaboration in agriculture, livestock, and private-sector partnerships. 

President Hassan also commended Egypt's support and role in constructing the Julius Nyerere Dam, highlighting the dam's importance to Tanzania’s development goals.

Meanwhile, President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to supporting African nations' development efforts, particularly in Nile Basin countries.

The two leaders also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation among Nile Basin countries to foster consensus and achieve shared development goals. 

Additionally, they stressed the importance of exerting collective efforts to maximize mutual benefits while ensuring no harm to any party.
