The Egyptian President then laid a wreath at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier in Copenhagen before proceeding to Amalienborg Palace in horse-drawn carriages with the King and Queen of Denmark.

Later, El-Sisi headed to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend the Egyptian-Danish Joint Business Forum.

He is also scheduled to meet with the Danish Prime Minister and the Speaker of Parliament and sign a strategic partnership declaration and several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in different aspects of cooperation between Egypt and Denmark.

El-Sisi's visit to Denmark marks the first stop in his European tour, which also includes Norway and Ireland. The tour aims to enhance cooperation and coordination between Egypt and European nations.
