Abdelatty made this comment during his meeting with a delegation from the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), according to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Over the past hours, Israeli publications released the so-called "historical maps," claiming territories rights for Israel in Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.

Arab countries have condemned the alleged map as a flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions and law.

Additionally, the Arab League said in a statement on Wednesday that such actions reflect an alarming trend of invoking historical fabrications and promoting them as legitimate facts.

During the meeting, Minister Abdelatty emphasized to the PLO delegation Egypt's support for the Palestinian Authority, reiterating Egypt's rejection of any plans to displace Palestinians from their land.

Egypt’s top diplomat also highlighted the country’s efforts and communications to halt the war in the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, promoting Egypt's vision for a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian crisis through establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Abdelatty underscored the necessity of working towards Palestinian unity and strengthening the role of the Palestinian Authority, ensuring the fulfilment of the aspirations of the Palestinian people.

The ministry’s statement also highlighted the importance of ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza without obstacles.

Abdelatty reviewed Egypt's efforts to gain international support for the recognition of the Palestinian state.

The delegation from the PLO included Rouhi Fattouh, chairman of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), and two senior PLO officials, Ahmad Majdalani and Azzam el-Ahmad, members of the Executive Committee.
