The Egyptian aid convoy, launched during the "Week of Goodness" activities under the slogan "Together for Humanity," includes more than 4,200 tonnes of food and medical aid and 11 ambulances to the Gaza Strip.

According to the Egyptian cabinet's statement, the comprehensive aid convoy comes to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.

During the launching ceremony, which took place in Cairo's Al-Asmarat district, Madbouly praised the Egyptian vital role in the region in supporting the Arab people, particularly the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Tahya Misr Fund launched the aid convoy in cooperation with the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House and the Egyptian Food Bank.

According to the Egyptian cabinet, the Tahya Misr Fund launched several relief convoys for Gaza in 2024, including food and medical supplies. They comprised 507 trucks loaded with over 8,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid and two ambulances.
