Abdelatty made these remarks during his meeting on Wednesday with a Palestinian delegation led by Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Abdelatty stressed the unity of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
In addition, he reviewed Egypt's efforts to implement all provisions of the three-phase ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Abdelatty also reiterated Egypt's support for the rights of the Palestinian people and its rejection of their displacement or forced relocation outside their land.
Moreover, he underscored the urgent need for a just and lasting resolution through a two-state framework and establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
For his part, Hussein al-Sheikh conveyed the greetings of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, expressing gratitude for Egypt's unwavering positions and efforts in supporting the Palestinian people and advocating their just cause.
