The Cairo summit would be the first time Al-Sharaa represented Syria in an Arab League meeting.
President El-Sisi congratulated Al-Sharaa in January following his appointment as president of Syria for the transitional period.
The emergency Arab League summit, called by Egypt at the request of Palestine, is set to discuss developments in the Palestinian cause and form a unified Arab stance in response to US President Donald Trump's recent proposals.
Early in February, Trump proposed a colonialist-style plan suggesting that Washington “takes control” of Gaza, forcibly displaces its native Palestinian population to Egypt, Jordan, and other Arab countries, and turns it into a “Middle East Riviera.”
The plan sparked a global outcry, leading Cairo, Amman, and other Arab nations to strongly reject it as a disregard for Palestinians’ historical rights and a serious threat to regional stability.
Arab leaders also warned that any attempt to displace Palestinians from their land forcibly would liquidate their long-standing national cause.
They further called for international recognition of a Palestinian state based on the pre-4 June 1967 borders per the two-state solution.
The Cairo summit is expected to discuss Egypt's comprehensive plan for the immediate reconstruction of Gaza without displacing Palestinians.
The summit follows Friday's informal meeting in Riyadh, which President El-Sisi attended alongside the leaders of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly also said Egypt has the expertise and resources needed for reconstructing the war-ravaged Gaza Strip in up to three years.
Israel's 15-month genocidal war on Gaza has decimated 92 percent of Gaza homes, leaving most of the 2.4 million Palestinian population shelterless, a UN report revealed.
