This came during a phone call on Saturday between the two foreign ministers.
During the call, they discussed the escalating situation in the strip, focusing on the ongoing Egyptian-Qatari mediation efforts, a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs read.
In recent days, diplomatic efforts have intensified to revive the Gaza ceasefire deal after Israel resumed its offensive in Gaza on 18 March, unilaterally ending two months of relative calm under the first phase of the deal brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US.
The renewed Israeli airstrikes have killed over 855 and wounded 1,869 so far.
Israel has refused to start the second phase of the ceasefire deal, which entails talks on a permanent end to the war and a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces in exchange for the release of the remaining captives in Gaza.
The statement added that the top Egyptian and Bahraini diplomats reiterated the urgency of ensuring the full implementation of all three phases of the ceasefire.
Moreover, they exchanged views on various issues affecting the security and stability of the region.
For his part, Minister Abdelatty highlighted the strong bilateral relationship between Egypt and Bahrain.
He also underscored Bahrain's important role as the current president of the Council of the League of Arab States, stressing the need for continued coordination and joint action.
