During a meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in the capital Beirut, Moussa emphasised Egypt's full support for Lebanon's reconstruction and economic recovery efforts.
According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides discussed regional developments, with the Egyptian diplomat praising President Aoun and the Lebanese government's efforts to strengthen national institutions.
Moussa reiterated the necessity of a complete Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Lebanese territories, stressing the need to empower the Lebanese army to extend its control over all Lebanese territories, including its southern borders.
For his part, President Aoun expressed deep appreciation for Egypt's supportive role and his confidence in President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's efforts to help restore regional security and stability.
Israel has continued to launch strikes on Lebanon since a 27 November ceasefire that essentially halted more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah, including two months of total war.
