This came during separate meetings held at President El-Sisi’s residence in the Kuwaiti capital with Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Acting Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
President El-Sisi arrived in Kuwait on Monday, marking the second leg of his Gulf tour following a visit to Qatar.
The visit reflects and aims to reinforce Egypt and Kuwait's deeply rooted historic ties.

During his meeting with the crown prince, El-Sisi commended Kuwait’s economic development efforts under Vision 2035 and voiced his aspiration further to expand bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
Kuwait is Egypt’s third-largest Arab trading partner and a key investor. Joint trade is valued at approximately $3 billion annually. Kuwaiti investments total around $20 billion in finance, construction, industry, and services.
The crown prince expressed Kuwait’s anticipation that El-Sisi’s visit would deepen bilateral cooperation across various sectors and enhance the longstanding ties between the two countries.
He also praised Egypt’s pivotal role in promoting security and stability in the Middle East amid challenging regional developments.
For his part, President El-Sisi outlined Egypt’s ongoing efforts to restore the Gaza ceasefire, which Sheikh Sabah commended.

Both leaders emphasized the urgency of an immediate ceasefire, prisoner-detainee exchange, unimpeded humanitarian aid entry, and starting Gaza reconstruction according to the Arab plan.
Moreover, they firmly rejected any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, stressing the need for continued international efforts to revive a credible political process aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The meeting also discussed developments in Syria, ongoing regional and international efforts to resolve the crisis in Yemen, and initiatives to support stability in Sudan.

During his meeting with Sheikh Fahad, President El-Sisi also discussed enhancing bilateral relations and leveraging the two nations' comparative advantages to deepen their strategic partnership and meet the aspirations of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples.
El-Sisi also praised the vital contributions of the Egyptian expatriate community in Kuwait, highlighting their positive role in the country's development as a reflection of the strong and enduring ties between Egypt and Kuwait.
For his part, Sheikh Fahad warmly welcomed President El-Sisi's visit to Kuwait, which he described as his “second country."
He also reaffirmed the pride of the Kuwaiti leadership and people in the longstanding and brotherly relations between Kuwait and Egypt.
Meanwhile, El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality he received, noting that it reflects the depth of ties between the two nations.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti formal diplomatic ties were established in 1961. Since then, their relations have been characterized by decades of mutual support and strategic cooperation.
