Both leaders will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and support efforts to restore stability and promote development in Sudan.
Moreover, they are expected to consult on various regional issues.
In March, after nearly two years of brutal conflict in Sudan, Al-Burhan declared the capital, Khartoum, "free" of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) control, following a major military push.
In April 2023, a war broke out between the Sudanese army, under the country's de facto ruler, Al-Burhan, and the paramilitary RSF, under his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (also known as Hamditi), over disputes regarding the integration of the RSF into the military.
Since then, tens of thousands of Sudanese have been killed, with both sides accused of atrocities.
This conflict has divided the country, with the army controlling the north and east and the RSF holding much of the western region of Darfur and swathes of the south.
Egypt has repeatedly affirmed its strong support for Sudan's unity and all efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the country.
