Israeli forces have blocked the entry of all humanitarian aid to Gaza, including food, medicine, and fuel, for over two months, easing restrictions only last week after mounting pressure from key allies.

Israel has killed at least 3,785 people since it unilaterally ended the January ceasefire and resumed its military offensive on Gaza in March.

On Sunday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty highlighted the positive developments in international support for Gaza and the West Bank during a Madrid Group ministerial meeting on advancing the two-state solution.
El-Sisi and Sanchez also affirmed the continuation of consultation and coordination between Egypt and Spain on various regional issues, given the significant role both countries play in restoring regional stability.
Their call also touched on the situations in Syria, Lebanon, and Libya, asserting the importance of preserving these brotherly countries' unity, territorial integrity, and security.
They also expressed their commitment to building on the positive momentum in bilateral relations, which was highlighted by President El-Sisi’s visit to Madrid in February.
