Their meeting also addressed the positive implications of de-escalation in the Red Sea region on maritime security and international trade.
Moreover, Abdelatty also reviewed Egypt’s intensive efforts to support security and stability in the Middle East, pointing out that the Egyptian-American partnership constitutes a fundamental pillar in supporting these efforts.
The meeting also explored ways to bolster the strategic partnership between Egypt and the US, including ongoing cooperation in political, economic, military, and technical fields.
The Foreign Minister highlighted the recent Egypt-US Economic Forum held in Cairo on 25–26 May, which saw the participation of leading American companies.
He expressed Egypt’s eagerness to deepen coordination with the US administration and both chambers of Congress to strengthen bilateral ties that serve the mutual interests of both nations.
