“Egypt is making intensive efforts with all concerned parties to resume negotiations for a truce and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip,” the channel cited sources as saying.
Earlier on Tuesday, a delegation from the Hamas movement, headed by its senior Khalil Al-Hayia, arrived in Cairo in an attempt to revive discussions that collapsed in Doha last week.
