In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult humanitarian situation.
Additionally, Cairo extended heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
Since Thursday, flash floods triggered by torrential rains in northern and northwestern Pakistan have killed more than 320 people and left many others missing.
Over 477 people, mostly women and children, have died in rain-related incidents across the country since June, according to the National Disaster Management Authority.
