“Egypt expresses its strong condemnation and deep denunciation of the aggression act carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the sister State of Qatar, which targeted a meeting of Palestinian leaders in the Qatari capital, Doha, to discuss ways to reach a ceasefire agreement in blatant violation of international law, the principles of respect for state sovereignty, and the inviolability of their territories.”

Egypt affirmed that "the Israeli aggression on Qatar represents a dangerous precedent and an unacceptable development and constitutes a direct assault on the sovereignty of the sister State of Qatar, which plays a pivotal role in mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."

Egypt also considered the Israeli attack an escalation that undermines international efforts aimed at de-escalation and threatens security and stability in the entire region.

“While Egypt declares its full solidarity with the sister State of Qatar, leadership and people, it calls on the international community to bear its legal and moral responsibilities regarding this blatant Israeli violation, and to take immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression and hold those responsible for it accountable, so that it is not added to Israel’s habitual impunity from accountability.” The Egyptian Presidency said.
