During the call, Abdelatty described the attack, which targeted senior Hamas members, as a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a serious breach of international law.
He affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity and support for Qatari leadership, government, and people, saying the incident marked a dangerous escalation.
The minister extended Egypt’s condolences to Qatar and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
According to Qatar’s Interior Ministry and Hamas, the Israeli airstrikes killed five Palestinian men and a Qatari police officer.
Abdelatty stressed that Qatar’s security and stability are essential to Arab national security and warned that any attempt to undermine them threatens regional stability.
For his part, the Qatari foreign minister expressed Doha’s deep appreciation for Egypt’s support, highlighting the strong ties and close relations between the two countries.
