The Egyptian Committee spokesperson, Mohamed Mansour, to the Al-Hekaya TV show on MBC Misr that the bulldozers will also help in widening the Egyptian camp for displaced Palestinians in the area to make it the biggest so far.

Several Palestinian news websites shared video clips of the Egyptian bulldozers as they were moving along the street.

Palestinian Al-Quds press news website added that coordination is currently underway between Egyptian officials and the Israeli side to allow the passage of these bulldozers in the coming hours through Salaheddin Street.

The operation aims to reopen the key road to civilian movement and expand the Egyptian displacement camp in the Abu Al-Hussain area near the electricity company.

This development follows the redeployment and repositioning of Israeli forces in several parts of the Strip earlier this morning.

Over the past few days, the Egyptian Committee for the Relief of Gaza Residents has completed the construction of eight displacement camps across the Strip to accommodate tens of thousands of civilians.

In addition, more than 500,000 food baskets have been distributed to hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians inside Gaza.
