In separate calls with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Abdelatty stressed the need for all parties to the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement to fully adhere to its provisions.

He said respect for the deal was essential to consolidating calm, achieving a permanent end to the war, and easing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

A Foreign Ministry statement said Abdelatty underscored the importance of allowing full and unimpeded humanitarian and relief access to the enclave.

The ministers also discussed preparations for Egypt’s upcoming International Conference on Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development in Gaza, scheduled for November in Cairo.

Abdelatty urged European countries to take part in the event, saying reconstruction efforts should begin “as soon as possible” within a comprehensive framework that safeguards Palestinian rights.

He said the plan would align with the joint Arab–Islamic Plan for Early Recovery and Reconstruction and the Middle East peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.

Abdelatty invited European countries to participate actively in the conference.

The French and Danish ministers voiced support for Egypt’s diplomatic efforts and expressed readiness to continue coordination with Cairo on Gaza’s recovery and reconstruction, including preparations for the upcoming international conference Egypt will host in November.

Egypt is gearing up to host the conference next month, bringing together governments, international organizations, financial institutions, and private-sector representatives to mobilize support for rebuilding Gaza.

The gathering forms part of Cairo’s broader diplomatic initiative to link humanitarian relief with long-term development under a unified Arab-Islamic framework.

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has said the gathering will focus on three key phases: early recovery, reconstruction, and long-term development.

Discussions will cover rubble removal, restoration of utilities, temporary housing, healthcare infrastructure, and rebuilding Gaza’s industrial and energy base, while ensuring that all plans preserve the rights of the Palestinian people and prevent displacement.

According to UN and regional estimates, rebuilding the war-ravaged enclave could cost up to $70 billion.
