According to a statement by Egypt’s foreign ministry, Abdelatty stressed that full implementation of the deal is crucial to facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and paving the way for the reconstruction and early recovery phase.

He also briefed Sikorski on the outcomes of the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace, which resulted in an agreement to end the war in Gaza in line with US President Donald Trump’s plan.

The Egyptian minister highlighted ongoing preparations for the International Conference on Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development in Gaza, due to be held in Cairo in November, underscoring the importance of broad international participation to mobilize financial and technical support and reinforce regional stability.

The two ministers also discussed ways to further strengthen Egyptian-Polish relations, with Abdelatty reaffirming Cairo’s commitment to enhancing economic cooperation, increasing trade, attracting Polish investments, and building on the results of recent high-level visits and political consultations.
