Minister Ersoy said this during the inauguration of the GEM by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday.
The GEM showcases the complete treasures of Tutankhamun and the solar boat of King Khufu, along with other significant artefacts from ancient Egyptian civilization.
Minister Ersoy stated that the project is a valuable cultural initiative that highlights humanity's shared history.
“I believe that every step taken to protect cultural heritage and pass it on to future generations strengthens the friendship and cultural cooperation between our countries,” he said.
