The event, which will be operated by the Roscongress Foundation on the Russian front, will be attended by the heads of the foreign affairs departments of Russia and African states, alongside regional integration associations in Africa.
The agenda will include a discussion on how to implement agreements reached at the summit and high-level events between Russia and Africa.
Key among these is the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum Action Plan for 2023–2026. Ministers are expected to outline the next steps to deepen multifaceted and strategic partnerships, especially to boost trade volumes, economic cooperation, and investment.
Cairo's meeting is a crucial stage in the preparations for the Third Russia–Africa Summit scheduled for 2026.
The Russia–Africa Summit framework was launched in Sochi in 2019 and followed by a second summit in St Petersburg in 2023.
