In both calls, the ministers reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation and build on the growing strategic partnerships between Egypt and the two Gulf countries, according to the Foreign Ministry.
The discussions also focused on key regional issues, including Iran, and their implications for regional security. The ministers stressed the importance of supporting diplomatic efforts, de-escalation, and preserving stability in the Middle East.
They exchanged views on the situation in the Gaza Strip, including ongoing efforts to implement the first phase of the October ceasefire, which aims to pave the way for early recovery, reconstruction, and the establishment of a mechanism for managing Gaza from within the territory, alongside advancing prospects for a two-state solution.
The talks further addressed developments in Lebanon, with emphasis on supporting state institutions, preserving sovereignty, and ensuring full implementation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1701.
Regarding Sudan, the ministers underlined the importance of preserving the country’s unity and stability, rejecting any parallel governing structures, and supporting efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire and a Sudanese-led political process.
The officials agreed on the importance of continued close coordination between Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE on regional issues in order to support security and stability across the region.
