The death toll of the Cairo-Suez highway accident rose from 8 victims to 12, while the injuries stood at 34.

A bus, carrying dozens, returning from Sharm El-Shiekh to Cairo flipped over on the Cairo-Suez highway in the early hours of Sunday.

The ambulance authority dispatched 30 ambulances to the site of the accident.

The victims were transferred to the Suez General Hospital.

The Suez’ prosecution is currently investigating the accident.
